Jennifer Neto is a Registered Psychotherapist with a foundation in trauma-focused therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Therapy, and various mindfulness-based approaches. Embracing a trauma-informed and strengths-based perspective, she adopts a collaborative, client-centred approach to therapy.
Committed to tailoring her services to meet individual needs and values, Jennifer actively engages clients in constructing personalized treatment plans. Her therapeutic style is characterized by warmth, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude, creating a safe and supportive space for healing. Jennifer completed additional training in couples therapy, including Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), and has expertise in narcissistic relationship dynamics. Jennifer is also a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Professional, supporting clients in areas related to intimacy, and connection.
Jennifer earned her education and training credentials from Trent University and Yorkville University, establishing a solid academic foundation for her professional journey. Jennifer works with individuals and couples experiencing anxiety, trauma, relationship difficulties, emotional overwhelm, intimacy concerns, and the impacts of unhealthy relational dynamics. Her approach combines evidence-based therapies with attachment-focused and trauma-informed care, helping clients build insight, resilience, emotional safety, and stronger connections with themselves and others.
