Somatic healing is like a gentle tune-up for your nervous system, helping it release stored trauma and energy, and return to a state of balance.

What is Nervous System Healing?

Our nervous system shapes how we respond to stress, regulate emotions, and experience safety in our bodies. When we go through prolonged stress, trauma, or overwhelm, our nervous system can become dysregulated, making it harder to manage emotions, feel grounded, and navigate daily challenges.

This 1:1 session is designed to help you understand and work with your nervous system, using Polyvagal Theory to increase resilience and expand your Window of Tolerance—your ability to handle stress and emotional ups and downs with greater ease.

Through a combination of somatic practices, breathwork, and nervous system education, you will learn to:
Recognize the three states of the nervous system:

  • Ventral Vagal (Safe & Connected) – A state of ease, presence, and social engagement

  • Sympathetic (Fight or Flight) – A state of activation, stress, or hyperarousal

  • Dorsal Vagal (Freeze & Shutdown) – A state of withdrawal, exhaustion, or numbness
    Identify when you are in each state and develop tools to shift toward regulation
    Release stored tension and stress patterns in the body
    Cultivate greater emotional resilience, self-awareness, and a sense of safety

What happens during a session?

The session begins with an assessment of your nervous system patterns, exploring where you spend most of your time and identifying what might be causing dysregulation.
We use gentle somatic movement, breathwork, and grounding exercises to regulate your nervous system in real-time.


Mindfulness and visualization techniques help you deepen awareness and connect with your body’s signals.
Polyvagal-informed practices guide you in learning how to shift between nervous system states and widen your Window of Tolerance. The session ends with integration strategies to take home, so you can continue building resilience and nervous system flexibility.
