Madeline (she/they) is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP-II) who provides client-centred therapy to individuals from diverse backgrounds. They work with clients navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, stress, life transitions, and identity exploration, while offering LGBTQ+ affirmative and neurodivergence-affirming care. Madeline supports clients in building coping skills, increasing self-awareness, and fostering resilience.
Madeline holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology (Honours) from Yorkville University, an Honours Graduate Certificate in Addictions and Mental Health from Durham College, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Child & Youth Studies from Trent University.
Madeline takes an eclectic therapeutic approach, integrating evidence-based approaches such as CBT, ACT, mindfulness, solution-focused, existential, and humanistic approaches with trauma-informed, strengths-based, compassion-focused, attachment-based, LGBTQ+ affirmative, and feminist-informed care. Their style is warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental, and she collaborates with clients in a safe and supportive space to explore experiences and foster personal growth.
Outside of work, Madeline enjoys walking her dogs, spending time with family, listening to podcasts, and watching a good movie.
