Anne-Marie is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. She understands that life can be unpredictable and that stress, transitions, or unexpected changes can leave you feeling unsettled. In therapy, she offers a welcoming, supportive space for individuals 18 and older to reflect on their experiences, gain insight, and work toward a more balanced, meaningful life.
Anne-Marie holds a Diploma in Developmental Services, a Bachelor of Arts in Health and Society, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. With experience across education, healthcare, and community services, she brings expertise and genuine curiosity to her practice. She brings specialized experience in supporting 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and communities with affirming, identity-informed care, while also providing neuro-affirming therapy for clients of all backgrounds.
She integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness-based techniques, all grounded in a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective. Taking a client-centred approach, Anne-Marie tailors therapy to your needs, helping to identify patterns that may be affecting you and supporting your capacity to navigate challenges, build resilience, and develop greater self-understanding.
