This monthly somatic group class blends slow, intentional movement, breathwork, nervous system education, and somatic practices to help release stored tension, support regulation, and create a greater sense of safety and ease in the body.

Each month explores a different nervous system-focused theme, offering practical education and embodied tools to support healing, stress relief, and self-awareness.

Monthly themes may include:

Vagus Nerve Support – Learn how the vagus nerve supports calm, safety, digestion, and emotional regulation
Protective Patterns & Tension Release – Explore how stress creates chronic muscle bracing, fascia tension, and holding patterns in the body
Listening to Your Body – Understand how the nervous system communicates through sensations, emotions, and physical cues
Anxiety & Stress Regulation – Learn body-based tools to work with activation, overwhelm, and fight-or-flight responses
Sleep & Nervous System Support – Support deeper rest by understanding how stress impacts the body’s ability to settle
Emotional Regulation & Body Awareness – Build awareness of your nervous system states and practical ways to shift toward safety

Through gentle movement, restorative postures, breath awareness, and grounding practices, you’ll learn how to better understand your body’s stress responses and develop tools to support regulation in everyday life.

This class is ideal for anyone experiencing stress, anxiety, burnout, chronic tension, overwhelm, or nervous system dysregulation—or for those simply wanting to deepen their connection with their body and nervous system in a supportive, trauma-informed space.

  • Rebecca Medcalf is a certified yoga instructor, Reiki practitioner, and expert in somatic regulation strategies. I've dedicated my life to exploring the profound connections between our physical and energetic selves.

    My own wellness journey, which began in 2014, has illuminated the incredible potential for positive change that lies within our grasp when we prioritize balance and education. I firmly believe that by understanding our bodily systems, we empower ourselves to take charge of our health and well-being.
