Therapy

Imagine feeling more confident and connected to others, and more present in your life. Perhaps therapy is right for you.

 Do you find yourself…

  • Having difficulty connecting with others and maintaining relationships with family, partners, or friends?

  • Feeling overwhelmed by the volume of daily tasks and responsibilities?

  • Listening to your inner critic that tells you that you’re not good enough?

  • Struggling to get out of bed and find joy in the things you used to?

  • Overthinking and worrying about what other people think?

  • Consistently stressed about the past or the future?

  • Feeling insecure and hiding your pain?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above, then therapy could be just what you need.

 Why Therapy?

One of the most valuable things about seeing a therapist is that they can be objective and are non-judgmental. Therapists help you navigate life’s challenges in a way that friends and family simply can’t.

Therapists can help support you in:

  • Acquiring techniques for problem-solving, anger management, or stress

  • Challenging irrational thoughts and incorrect assumptions

  • Re-framing long-held views about yourself and others

  • Establishing boundaries in relationships

  • Building healthy coping strategies

  • Managing important relationships

  • Prioritizing your own self-care

  • Dealing with the past

  • Processing feelings

Therapy is a personal experience.

At CORE Therapy, we recognize that each person’s journey will be unique.

Individual Therapy

Sometimes we need more than the support of friends and family. Speaking with a licensed therapist can help you work through life’s challenges in an unbiased and nonjudgmental way. Individual therapy is tailored to your specific needs. A therapist can help you identify problematic thinking patterns, develop healthy coping strategies, and help you work towards personal growth and healing.

Couples Therapy

Relationships aren’t always easy. You and your partner might be feeling "stuck" for a variety of reasons. Maybe you want to improve your communication skills, unpack past issues, or break out of complacency to feel more connected. Maybe you are facing a recent crisis and need help working through heavy emotions. Maybe you aren't even sure if your relationship will last or if therapy will even help. We understand, and we’re here to help so that each of you can move towards a healthier and happier place.

Family Therapy

Family relationships are complex and issues might be new or longstanding. We work with family members to explore family dynamics, improve communication skills, and strive for more unity and cohesion. A family therapist can help facilitate conversations that simply can’t happen at home because tensions get too high, conversation go in circles, or you find yourselves yelling over each other. Let us help you have the tough conversations that are needed to find a way forward.
